WORKSHOP | Yes, you can host a house party!
Why host a house party? Yes, door knocks, phone banks, postcards, rallies are all important organizing tools. But in 2025-26, we need to do something more and different to win. House parties can:
Reach voters outside of our political bubbles
Have friend and neighbor conversations with those who support our democratic values
Inoculate voters against the onslaught of right-wing media
Expand our volunteer base
Are you thinking about hosting a house party, but don't know how to get started? If you've never hosted one before (and even if you're a fellow introvert), or just want a refresher, join the Bay Area Coalition every Monday, 7 pm (PT) for our California-wide house party workshop ...
How to plan your house party
Tips and tools for hosting conversations with your friends, neighbors, colleagues
Learn PDI-on-the-GO to find your local Democrats, or others who share our values
You'll leave the workshop fired up and ready to host your house party!

Prop 50 Vote YES Phone Bank – Protect California’s Voice!
Prop 50 Vote YES Phone Bank – Protect California’s Voice!
Event Description:
Join us to call California voters in support of Prop 50! This critical measure is a direct response to MAGA Republicans in Texas and other states who are gerrymandering congressional maps to lock Democrats out of power.
Prop 50 temporarily empowers the California Legislature to redraw maps for 2026–2030, ensuring fair representation, protecting voting rights, and giving California a stronger voice in Congress.
During this phone bank, volunteers will:
➡ Call California voters to raise awareness about Prop 50
➡ Explain why fair maps matter and how gerrymandering undermines democracy
➡ Provide key dates for Vote-by-Mail and early in-person voting
Why this matters:
➡ MAGA Republicans in other states are stacking the deck to weaken Democratic representation
➡ California could gain up to five additional House seats if Prop 50 passes
➡ Every conversation and every vote directly impacts national politics in 2026
Every call counts — your voice helps protect democracy and ensures California voters have fair representation!

Mass demonstrations, like Hands Off!, NO KINGS, and Good Trouble Lives On, generate a tremendous amount of energy! We can't let that energy dissipate. We can harness it and turn it into action.
One of the first objectives of civil resistance movements is to attract more people to the movement and mobilize them into action. It has been demonstrated that no movement with 3.5% of the population engaged in continuous mobilization has ever failed - but they used other actions beyond mass demonstrations. Join us in planning actions to make this happen.
Solidarity Warriors is an action-focused, Indivisible group formed after the November election. We're one of the main groups organizing mass demonstrations in Denver. We're made up of people from across the nation, many in Colorado. We're focused on action rather than just airing political grievances, so please come prepared to talk about what you want to DO to resist the new administration and protect vulnerable communities.

What's the plan? With Indivisible's Co-Founders Leah and Ezra
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. We’re proud to host our very first campaign event at a local gem: The Village General Store & Refillery in downtown Roseville.
This isn’t just a venue, it’s a model of the kind of small, values-driven business that Neva Parker believes in and is fighting for. As a former small business owner herself, Neva knows the challenges our local entrepreneurs face, and how essential they are to building thriving, resilient communities.
The Village is more than a store, it's a local resource. They offer low-waste refills, pantry staples, and sustainable lifestyle goods with “your family and the planet in mind.”
As they put it: “Our goal is to make sustainable, low-waste living convenient and affordable so that everyone can participate in the change.”
We chose this space because it reflects the future we’re building together, where local businesses are supported, sustainability is prioritized, and everyday people are at the center of policy decisions.
Let’s take the first step at The Village General Store & Refillery!
Hosted by Neva Parker’s campaign. This is an opportunity to learn more about a candidate. This is not an endorsement.

What's the plan? With Indivisible's Co-Founders Leah and Ezra
The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.

After We March, We Organize! Solidarity Warriors Indivisible Action Group
Visit https://solidaritywarriors.org/ and https://www.youtube.com/@solidaritywarriors to learn more about Solidarity Warriors.

Truth Brigade
Disinformation poisons minds and prevents our society from moving forward to protect the people and the planet. Join us the second Wednesday of each month to learn where we are most vulnerable, and how we can heal disinformation-driven divisions and fears through persuasive communication. Leave each call inspired, clear-headed and focused on taking meaningful action.
Indivisible’s Truth Brigade is the nation's largest grassroots disinformation-countering program, and this September, we’re confronting the lies behind the devastating dismantling of climate protections that harm our vulnerable communities most.
On September’s Truth Brigade’s call, Abbie Richards of EcoTok and Media Matters will show us how the media, corporations, and other bad actors fuel confusion or apathy about the climate. Then, we’ll provide tools and info to fight back with the truth.

Bridge Brigade Wednesday Morning
Welcome commuters with messages to help wake them up in the morning, messages about the need to protect our democracy from the current corrupt administration. Join Indivisible Roseville CA to hold banners and signs over CA-65.
Make signs highly visible with large lettering. Use simple messages like “VOTE ✅ YES on 50!”
Bring water and a hat and/or umbrella. Shade is not available and even in the morning you don’t want to get too much sun. Consider wearing sunscreen.
Park near Krispy Kreme for the easiest walk to the overpass. Try not to park too close to businesses so as not to make it harder on customers. The walk does include a short uphill climb to reach the overpass.

Pramila Jayapal's Resistance Lab: SEPTEMBER Virtual Organizing Training
Interested in hosting an organizing training with your friends and family on September 7th? We'll show you how! Simply fill out this form: https://forms.gle/35dJaGjnpWQX9JvX7. Once submitted, a member of our team will reach out the week of the event with all the tools and resources you need to host a successful training.
The Resistance Lab is a series of trainings that are developed specifically for this moment. In this first lab, we look at how non-violent movements around the world have responded to leaders who seize power in authoritarian ways and the most effective tools and tactics to utilize in these moments. We offer frameworks to understand this moment at home, and incorporate interactive conversation with others to help create community and build our resistance movement.
The Resistance Lab was developed with experts who have researched and studied democratic backsliding around the world as well as in the United States and the non-violent movements that have emerged to challenge those authoritarian leaders. We also draw from many toolkits for effective tactics and frameworks as well as from Pramila’s own background leading successful organizing movements for economic and social justice for two decades.
Our goals are to help people understand how democracies fall and the most effective resistance movements that have challenged authoritarians and dictators; to turn anger, fear and frustration into action in the short-term while also preparing for a coordinated resistance movement for the longer term; and to build community across the country that can help grow our movement. At the end of the day, we want to get people strike-ready and street-ready and make sure we protect our people, our freedoms and our democracy.
With Trump and his MAGA billionaires doubling down on their attacks on the economic livelihoods of people to thrive and on our democracy, we can’t afford to sit this moment out. This is about building real power together. And it starts with you.
RSVP TODAY and secure your spot! You’ll receive the ZOOM link closer to the event date. And don’t forget to share this with your network!

Visit https://solidaritywarriors.org/ and https://www.youtube.com/@solidaritywarriors to learn more about Solidarity Warriors.

Bring water and a hat and/or umbrella. Shade is not available and even in the morning you don’t want to get too much sun. Consider wearing sunscreen.

Workers Over Billionaires Labor Day @ Galleria
About this event
Labor and community are planning more than a barbecue on Labor Day this year because we have to stop the billionaire takeover. Billionaires are converting the government into their private slush fund and just passed the largest wealth giveaway in the history of the US. The money they take from working families, they put in billionaires’ pockets and set aside to fund a private army of ICE agents.
Just like any bad boss, the way we stop the takeover is with collective action. We are working people rising up to stop the billionaire takeover–not just through the ballot box or the courts, but through building a bigger and stronger movement. We are growing our movement and fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all of us—and not just a chosen few.
On September 1st we will continue the movement we launched together on May 1st, standing in solidarity with all our communities under attack and fighting for real wins for all our people.
Thousands of communities across the country are taking a stand on Labor Day, join us! We will be in the streets, outside the offices of the corporate criminals who are behind the attacks on our freedoms, and at congressional offices. Together we will demand a country that puts workers over billionaires.
OUR DEMANDS TO BUILD THE SOCIETY WE ALL DESERVE:
Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government.
Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
Fully funded schools, and healthcare and housing for all.
Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities.
Invest in people not wars.
Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
This event is volunteer organized for May Day Strong. This is not an Indivisible Roseville CA event, but people are welcome to attend.

Don’t forget to join Indivisible Roseville CA one hour earlier at the Lead Hill overpass. People can choose to attend both events. See details for the Lead Hill overpass event by clicking HERE!

Creative Resistance: Meme-geddon!
About this event
Hello Creative Resistors!
This is the first in a series of events for learning how to take creative action. These will include things such as:
How to make postcards, posters, and pin badge buttons. How to write hopepunk books, plays, and poetry. How to gain visibility through fun events that bring people together and inspire community action.
For this event we will be learning how to make memes.
You will learn how to create or source images. How to write text, whether it is humorous, factual, or inspirational. Learn what makes a meme funny or inspirational. Also, understand why it is important to check your facts and credit where they have come from.
After creating memes, we can help one another to spread them across the net on many different social media services.
For all of our art events we plan to put up regular themes that we can create toward. One month we could have a theme to do with the environment, another could be about protecting public education, and more.
Thank you for all the input from people at our last meeting! We hope to include many of your thoughts and ideas!
Every US citizen wherever they may be living on this planet is welcome to join us!
Let's have fun storming the castle!
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
