Speaking at a No Kings Vote Early rally, Robin McGehee, Together Across America’s founder, took us back to 1992, when she was a student leader at Forest Hill High School in Jackson Public Schools. Working alongside white, black and brown classmates, she helped organize to remove the Confederate flag as their school flag and replace it with an inclusive, student-designed symbol.

Robin, along with those students, recognized an injustice. They came together across their differences. And, together, they changed something that others had overlooked and accepted for far too long.

Between now and November 3, Find Your Friendlies. Reach out to the people who know and trust you. Make your voting plan. Help someone else make their voting plan. Vote early where available, volunteer, share this message with someone who needs a reminder that they have a voice—and that their voice matters.

Then join our post-election #TeamTAA Zoom, Wednesday, 11/4, 𝟱𝗣𝗠 PT / 6𝗣𝗠 MT / 7𝗣𝗠 CT / 8𝗣𝗠 ET.
