Mass demonstrations, like Hands Off!, NO KINGS, and Good Trouble Lives On, generate a tremendous amount of energy! We can't let that energy dissipate. We can harness it and turn it into action.
Come learn how to be an organizer and make change in your community. We'll teach you all the things we wish we'd known when we got started. We often have guest speakers on topics like Immigrant Rights, Indigenous History, Cybersecurity, How to Protest Safely, and more!
Solidarity Warriors and guest speaker Jeanette Baust, educator, writer, and activist, will discuss the national plan for rapid response to election interference and more.
We'll share what we need to do in the last days leading up to the election, as well as long-term planning to ensure our movement’s survival and the downfall of authoritarianism.
What we’ll cover this Wednesday:
National and Colorado rapid response to election interference.
Important immediate strategic planning: • Early voting. • Working as hard as possible to get out the vote for candidates like Manny Rutinel in District 8, who is running against Gabe Evans. The race is close, and money is pouring in. • Back initiatives committed to defeating the Trump regime and moves toward authoritarianism, especially with less consistent voters. • Underscore people, planet, and community values!
Election Day: • Monitor the vote. • Keep people safe and feeling safe. • Observers, photos, videos as necessary. • Report issues to Common Cause at 866-OUR-VOTE.
Continue to educate and strengthen non-violent presence and messaging. We’ll discuss nonviolent revolution and its effectiveness historically.
Do the hard work of building unity and solidarity to resist all forms of emerging sabotage, power grabs, and illegal activity regarding the election and beyond. From Election 2026 through the January inauguration and moving toward the 2028 presidential election.
Talk about our long-term vision in terms of years, not months.
Continue work on unity at the local and national level. • Local: On the ground, up close, often surfaces the deepest ideological, strategic, and personal differences. We’ll talk about how to foster unity when possible, respect differences, and avoid undermining. • National: Be encouraged! No Kings, Indivisible, and 50501 are only a few of 200 groups that solidified around No Kings, with 3000 activities registered!
