Sierra College Earth Day 2026: Rooted in Justice, Growing Together

  • Sierra College 5100 Sierra College Boulevard Rocklin, CA, 95677 United States (map)

This year’s theme, Rooted in Justice, Growing Together, centers environmental action within the broader context of social justice, equity, and collective care. Just as healthy ecosystems depend on strong roots, diversity, and reciprocity, a sustainable future requires inclusive solutions grounded in community voices. Environmental challenges do not impact all communities equally, and meaningful action must address both people and planet.

The Sierra College Earth Day celebration invites participants to explore how community-based action, environmental justice, and shared stewardship help us endure challenges—and grow through them. When communities are overlooked or pushed aside, they persist and rise, like seeds finding their way toward the light.

This long-standing campus tradition features workshops, student projects, guest speakers, and community partners focused on justice-centered environmental solutions.

Join us for a day of learning, connection, and action as we come together—rooted in justice and growing toward a more resilient, equitable future.
