Make a stand with the Coalition Against Project 2025! Join them on the morning of the JULY 4th, TO CREATE A HUMAN BANNER standing together to mark 250 YEARS of FREEDOM FROM KINGS and 250 more.

They are looking for hundreds of locals to join our banner cause, and honor detained immigrants at art installations called “EMPTY CHAIRS” and interactive project “RIBBONS OF JUSTICE”.

Both of these art efforts are visible reminders of the plight of fellow humans in our state. There is a heavy weight to the reality of what immigrants are enduring right here in our region and state. The Central Valley is home to multiple ICE Detention Centers, and DHS is attempting to located new detention facilities in Northern CA.

It is troubling that this inhumanity to our fellow humans seems hidden in the dark while Californians live in the bright sun, ignoring these people in the shadows.

This deliberate process of erasure is rooted in dehumanization, and is strategic, in an effort to reduce public interference.

We won’t stand for this as citizens in the Sacramento region!
