Donald Trump is now a lame-duck president. He faces the investigative and legislative power of the two chambers of Congress. They cannot pass a bill without his signature, but they can claw back funds, and pass bills that create a dilemma for the man who ran on a better-jobs, lower-prices platform. Force him to veto healthcare for all. Force him to decide to veto universal childcare or free college. Our new Congress needs to show us that we have elected officials who represent us.
