President Trump and Rep. Kevin Kiley have passed a budget bill that represents one of the largest transfers of wealth from the working class to the obscenely rich in American history. As a result of the legislation, 16+ million Americans will lose their health care and it will result in an additional 51,000 preventable deaths annually; more than a million children will go hungry; and working-class Americans will not be able to afford college.

We are building a powerful movement to hold Congress accountable for their support for the 'disastrous piece of legislation.' The first step is reaching out to Americans who will be impacted by this legislation.

We are texting voters in California's 6th Congressional District who are in danger of losing their health care or food assistance and let them know what has happened; who was responsible for these cuts; and invite them to take action to hold their Member of Congress accountable.
