Hold Congress Accountable: National Organizing Call

  • Virtual event - Join from anywhere! (map)

Join our national organizing call on Tuesday, November 18th to come together with other concerned citizens and learn how you can take action to help hold our elected officials accountable for their vote and demand that they restore full funding for health care, food assistance, and education.

President Trump and Members of Congress have just passed a budget bill that represents one of the largest transfers of wealth from the working class to the obscenely rich in American history. As a result of the legislation, 16+ million Americans will lose their health care and it will result in 51,000 preventable deaths; more than a million children will go hungry; and working-class Americans will not be able to afford college.

We are building a powerful movement to hold Congress accountable for their support for the 'disastrous piece of legislation’ and are organizing the millions of Americans in Congressional Districts across the country who are in danger of losing their health care or food assistance and let them know what has happened; who was responsible for these cuts; and invite them to take action to hold their Member of Congress accountable.

No working person should have to choose between getting the medical care they need and putting food on the table.

This isn’t about party politics.

It’s about priorities.
