Good Trouble Lives On: Final Host Training

  • Virtual event - Join from anywhere! (map)

Join this virtual training to learn how you can host a voter registration event and support your community in ensuring they can exercise their freedom to vote.

We are facing the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations. We’re witnessing a Jim-Crow era effort from politicians to restrict our freedoms and silence Black and Brown communities in order to consolidate their power.

But the spirit that powered Selma, Montgomery, and the March on Washington lives on in our collective action.

Six years after the passing of Congressman Lewis, we continue the fight for voting rights with “Good Trouble Lives On Weekend of Action (GTLO)" from July 17-19.

More information and sign up to host an event at https://www.goodtroubleliveson.org/

Please note, Good Trouble Lives On is a non-partisan weekend of action. We require that participants commit to not advocate for, endorse, or oppose any political candidate or ballot initiative. A core principle behind all Good Trouble Lives On events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
