Our Fall Forum will have a variety of events. We will have presentations and Q/A sessions with candidates. All have been invited. So far, three candidates have responded that they will attend. Neva Parker is running for CA Assembly District 5. Chris Bennett and Heidi Hall are running against Kevin Kiley in CA 03. ( if he doesn't find somewhere else to run) Get to know them and learn what they have to offer residents of our area.

In addition, we are fortunate to have the creators show their short film, "This Is Where We Go From Here".

Why this film matters now.

At a time when democratic norms are under threat and fear-based policies are being normalized, "This is Where We Go From Here" offers a powerful connection between history and the urgent challenges we face today. The film doesn’t just inform—it inspires action. By partnering with action-oriented organizations like Auburn Indivisible and AADC, it encourages audiences not just to reflect, but to engage.

The message is clear: get involved to save our democracy and republic."
