It’s never been more clear: Elections belong to the people, not to politicians. We have the power.
Ahead of the midterm elections, every day people turned activists, volunteers, and organizers with the ACLU showed up month after month—in every neighborhood, borough, and district—to safeguard our right to vote. They reached millions of voters and protected our fundamental rights.
Because of that work, voters were able to cast their ballots largely without major issues. They rejected the federal administration’s authoritarian attacks and embraced civil rights and liberties.None of this would have been possible without you.
And it’s just the beginning. On Friday, November 6th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, join the ACLU for a crucial post-election briefing. You’ll hear directly from ACLU staff on how we can use this unique opportunity to advocate for a stronger democracy, reproductive freedom, immigration reform, and so much more.
We are so incredibly proud to have done this work besides organizers and activists like yourselves. Organized people are beating back authoritarianism and standing up for our civil rights and liberties. Join us on November 6th to keep the momentum going.
