The National Action Network, Martin Luther King III and others are sponsoring a March on Washington. This is the 63rd anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom and MLK Jr's "I Have a Dream" speech.

With Trump and his acolytes attacking voting rights we need to bring attention to the issue and fight for free and fair elections.

We will be supporting this effort by standing along two of our major overpasses during the weekend traffic to Lake Tahoe and Reno on Friday, August 28th. We want to have activists on both overpasses to show our strong support. Each location has parking available nearby. Each overpass will have its own sign up on Mobilize.

It might still be hot that day, so bring water. If you need to sit, there is a small section near the overpass where you can set up a chair.
